Terms & Conditions
Plain English terms for hiring silent disco headphones from No Noise Silent Disco Hire in Devon.
Who these terms are with
Silent disco equipment on this site is supplied by No Noise Silent Disco Hire, based in Exeter, Devon, UK. "We" and "us" mean No Noise Silent Disco Hire; "you" means the person or organisation making the booking.
Enquiries, quotes and bookings
Sending an availability enquiry does not reserve your date. We reply with availability and a price, and your date is only held once we have confirmed the booking with you in writing.
Prices quoted are for the equipment and options described in that confirmation. If your headphone numbers, dates or add-ons change, tell us and we will re-quote.
Delivery and collection
Delivery and collection across Devon are included as described on the prices page. Within ten miles of Exeter we deliver and collect in person; elsewhere in Devon the equipment travels by courier and returns by prepaid courier.
You are responsible for making sure someone can receive the delivery and that the equipment is packed back into its cases, ready for collection or return, at the agreed time.
Looking after the equipment
The equipment remains our property throughout the hire. Please keep it dry, indoors or under cover where possible, and away from bars, pools and open water.
You are responsible for loss or damage beyond normal wear while the equipment is in your care, charged at the cost of repair or like-for-like replacement. We will always tell you the amount before charging anything.
Your responsibilities on the day
You will need a standard mains socket for the transmitter and permission from your venue to use the equipment. Silent disco headphones do not override your venue's licence, closing time or house rules — they simply mean the music is not audible in the room.
Please make sure the handout and return point does not block a fire exit or escape route.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to move your date, contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to transfer your booking to the new date subject to availability.
If you cancel, any deposit paid to hold the date may be non-refundable. We will confirm the position in writing when you book, so nothing is a surprise later.
If something goes wrong
If any item fails, tell us straight away and we will replace or resolve it as quickly as we can. Our liability is limited to the value of the hire.
We are not liable for indirect losses, or for restrictions imposed by your venue, licence conditions or authorities outside our control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
