How do we transition from the normal reception to silent disco?
Choose a clear switch time, have the headphones ready, announce how the channels work and start with recognisable music on each channel. A coordinated transition makes the silent disco feel like an intentional reveal.
The DJ or coordinator can handle the announcement while helpers distribute headsets. Avoid making guests queue for a long time if you can pre-position multiple collection points.
