Will a silent disco work at a wedding venue with a sound limiter?
Often, yes, because the main dance music is delivered through headphones rather than loudspeakers. However, the venue's rules still apply and some limiters may monitor other amplified sound in the room.
Ask the venue exactly what its limiter controls and whether headphones are permitted after its normal amplified-music cutoff. A silent disco can solve speaker-noise problems, but it does not override venue rules.
