Does a silent disco make no noise at all?
No. The dance music is in the headphones, so there is no loud main speaker output, but guests can still talk, sing, laugh and make ordinary event noise.
This distinction matters for venue expectations. Silent disco is a powerful way to reduce amplified music noise, not a guarantee of complete silence.
